May 29, 2015. Since I could not be in the city for Manhattanhenge , I experienced the next best thing, the sun setting through my snow globe. Manhattanhenge is a spectacular sunset where the sun aligns with New York City's street grid and happens only twice in 2015.
I have always experienced life as though I was looking through a kaleidoscope. Forever changing images, no two alike, with each turn the colors and light presents something different. Natural light is very important to me and plays a big part of when and how I capture an image. The editing process and transformation of my work into digital art has been a satisfying part of my creative journey, often translating into a vintage and nostalgic feel reminiscent of Kodachrome with deep saturated colors. My images are an extension of my whimsical approach to life bringing more color, light and humor into the world.
