As a third generation native New Yorker growing up in the city I have always experienced life as though I was looking through a kaleidoscope. Forever changing images, no two alike, with each turn the colors and light presented something different. My first camera was a Pentax K1000 which was a gift from my parents when I was 13 years old. I am a self taught photographer and have been taking photos for 37 years. I am fascinated by textures and how light plays on everything changing an image in an instant. I resisted going digital for so long and enjoyed developing my own photographs up until ten years ago. I now thoroughly enjoy the editing and processing that enhances imagery just as much as shooting and capturing moments in time. I will continue to add to my galleries and love sharing my whimsical view of the world. Comments, support and feedback is always appreciated.
“You don't make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved.”
